Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) offers a four-year professional medical degree in Naturopathic Medicine accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) and The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Graduates are educated in the same basic sciences as MDs and trained in natural therapeutics and nontoxic approaches to therapy with an emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness.

The beautiful campus is home to the Southwest College Research Institute (SCRI), and the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center is located in nearby Scottsdale. We are known for our integrated curriculum and progressive utilization of technology in the classroom.

The clinical training program at SCNM is a key part of your medical education. As students see patients under the supervision of attending physicians, they apply the scientific knowledge acquired in their academic study to real-life clinical cases and develop the skills and confidence necessary to deliver individualized, patient-centered care. Our students work with local healthcare centers, N.D.s, M.D.s, D.O.s and other holistic healthcare practitioners.
